Is a third-party service needed?
No. The message is sent by the bot to a channel picked from your guild list.
Why is the channel shown as a number?
The bot cannot see that channel. Check that it is on the server and that the guild is linked in the settings Overview.
Do webhooks travel with a preset?
No. The guild link, channels, webhooks and secrets never go into a settings template.
