Privacy Policy

A-Faction — transparent processing and protection of user data Last updated: October 10, 2026

General provisions

This Privacy Policy defines how the A-Faction project processes and stores information received when using the website, CRM and related services.

A-Faction is a system for managing Discord communities, their members, roles, discipline and internal workflows.

By using the website and project services, the user confirms acceptance of this Policy.

Data processing is carried out to operate the platform, ensure security and execute user actions within the system.

Authorization through Discord

Access to the platform is provided through Discord OAuth.

During authorization, Discord ID, username, avatar and other public profile data may be processed.

Processing of Discord data is also governed by Discord’s rules and privacy policy.

The user is responsible for all actions performed through their Discord account.

As part of platform operation, notifications about actions, requests, sanctions and other events may be sent to Discord.

Data processed by the Discord bot

The A-Faction bot works on servers where the server owner installed it. It receives data from Discord only to perform the functions that the server administration configured in the CRM.

The bot processes the following data:

Message content: only in channels that the server administration marked as forms or command channels. The text of such a message is published as a card in the same server and is not saved outside Discord. Messages in all other channels are ignored and are not stored.
Images attached to form messages: they are re-uploaded to a third-party image hosting service so that the card keeps its picture after the Discord link expires.
Server member list: used to show the holders of a role and to record in the staff log that a registered member left the server. The full member list is not stored: the database keeps only members that the staff registered themselves.
Voice: the bot records a voice channel only on a staff command and plays an audible sound when it joins. The recording is stored for a limited period and is available to the staff of that server.
One-time codes: sent in a direct message to confirm ownership of a Discord account during server registration.

Message content is not used for advertising, user profiling, or for training machine learning and AI models. There is no separate opt-out switch: a user who does not post in the configured channels is not processed by the bot. To have data deleted, contact support using the details in the Contacts section.

After a deletion request, data is removed within a reasonable period according to the internal project rules.

Certain technical and security logs may be stored longer for incident investigation.

inactive or abandoned servers may be restricted or removed under internal rules;

re-registration may be restricted after server deletion.

By registering a server, the user confirms acceptance of the platform terms and this Policy.

other actions causing harm to the platform or its users.

In serious cases, blocking may be applied without prior notice.

Blocking may be temporary or permanent.

For security purposes, related logs and technical data may be retained upon blocking.
