Permissionscome in three layers.

Full access belongs to the owner and superusers, section visibility is set by position, and permissions for actions live in a separate matrix.

Seeing a section and acting in itare different things.

Almost everything that looks like “my section disappeared” turns out to be a visibility rule rather than a fault.
Three layersFull access, section visibility by position and unit, and a matrix of permissions for specific actions.
A matrix of actionsIssue a reprimand, change data, approve a blacklist record, edit settings — each permission is granted separately.
The audit in reverseThe matrix answers who can perform an action; the audit in a profile answers what this particular person can do.

When permissionsmatter more than trust.

Separating access is not about distrust: the more leaders there are, the more an accidental click costs. Permissions are described once and work the same in the panel and in the bot.
  1. A new leader

Someone promoted needs access to their own area, not to the whole panel. Section visibility follows the position, action permissions come from a separate matrix.

  2. A trainee on probation

Let them see the roster but not issue penalties. Every action permission is granted separately from section visibility.

  3. Sorting out a dispute

The permission audit in a profile answers what a person could have done, and the action log shows what they actually did.

Common questionsabout access.

Why did a section disappear?

Almost always it is a setting, not a bug: the section is hidden by a visibility rule on the Permissions tab, and an action button by the permission matrix on the same tab.

How is visibility different from an action permission?

Visibility decides whether the section shows up in the menu. The matrix decides whether you can issue a penalty, approve coins or edit settings. A section can be visible while the button stays disabled.

Who always has full access?

The server owner and superusers. Everyone else sees what their position and department allow.

I got blocked after ordinary actions

Protection blocks attempts to bypass permissions and shows the reason on the block screen. Usually it is a tab left open for hours: reload the page and message the administration — blocks are lifted manually.
